For example he told me to never do acid because you can become paralyzed. I asked him wtf he was talking about and he said when you drop acid your spinal fluid leaks and it can't be reproduced. So you can go paralyzed.
I was seriously laughing at him.

He also tried to convince me Tylenol had caffeine in it and it wasn't acetaminophen.

I don't know what to do honestly.

Just tell him to stop saying things as facts, and only say "I heard....". Tell him you'll help him in breaking the habit of saying those kindsa things, and tell'em to just say "I heard that...".

Agree that you'll make a weird, annoying noise, like a siren, that'll make him remember and give him a reason to stop. That works for me and my buddy.

I just think he's never talked to someone as smart as me. I just hope the more we talk and the more I correct him the smarter he gets.... I wish he would believe me though when I tell him something is wrong. He won't believe me, he needs proof and it's really frustrating.

No disrespect, but would you accept a statement without proof, even from a smart person? If not, you're a hypocrite. If so, you should stop being so gullible and find out for yourself before making any judgments in the subject.

Just get him to take your word for it and found out for himself, and do the same for him, and ask him to stop saying things as facts unless he has real proof. I still suggest my first idea. It's worked for me.
