Most stores are open, the chain ones anyways. Smaller stores are usually closed. If the mall itself is open, then all the stores in it should be open too.

Typically, any business that normally has Saturdays off, got Friday (yesterday off), and the ones that are in operation on Saturdays, typically will have today off. Although, chain stores are the notable exception.
