has been like doing some work-experience in an all girls muslim school. Here are some rules:

No men allowed on the grounds.
No skin (apart from face & hands) to be shown.
No clapping.
No singing.
No pictures (unless eyes are covered).

I was SO shocked when she told me.

That sounds ridiculous.

But I read about these safety restrictions in normal schools in the UK, apparently you can't open a window more than 15cm in case someone falls out of it. And sports have to canceled if the grass is damp.

the window thing i've never heard so i think its a bit full of rubbish

and the grass, its england, things never just get damp lol sports get called off if it rains heavily but thats only to save the quality of the grass
