I saw a movie tonight on TCM (Turner Classic Movies) and it was from 1953 and in French.  The guy in it called Mr. Hulot was very similar to Mr. Bean so I think he could have been some inspiration for Rowan Atkinson's character of Mr. Bean.  Just wanted to say.  The name of the movie was Mr. Hulot's Holiday.

Not many people would realize this and even seeing the movie, they have different stories.  He's a similar character though.

His show was funny.  You should check out the movie.  It has pretty clean humor in it, other than stealing.
