I hear people complain about being pulled over and getting a ticket and saying things like "fucking pigs!" but they were breaking the law, they got caught. Its there own dame fault. Who helps you if you get mugged? the police. Who helps you when your house gets robbed? The police. So stop calling cops pigs! one day something is going to happen to you and you will see that not all cops are dicks.

Yeah, that gets on my nerves too when they call them pigs.. People just get mmad when they get busted doing something they shouldnt be doing like you said.. Sure some are crooked, but very few.

No, not all cops are assholes. In fact, I have met several good ones, and it has inspired me to consider a career in law enforcement.

However, many of them are assholes. I have been pulled over for so much bullshit. Failure to signal when I change lanes (oh, and I did), going 4mph over. Oh wait, I was actually going 1mph UNDER, but the cop didnt know the speed limit in that area.

Not to mention how many times I have seen them taze and/or beat highschool students, long after they were subdued.

As for the cops helping? I wish. I was mugged. I had my jaw fractured. Even after identifying the muggers, nothing was ever done. Nothing.

I think the reason people don't like them is because most cops have a high confidence due to the fact that they can arrest people and catch criminals. This then leads to cocky attitudes and that "I'm better than you so do what i say or get cuffs slapped on your wrists." feel

cops are stupid because they voluntarily enforce a lot of stupid laws

they dont always have a choice but they often do and they fully believe the law to be some kind of 'god' most of the time
