I've had my ears pierced for a longgggg time, but what size do you use with when you first start to gauge them?
Andddd, this may sound like a stupid question, but do they affect your second holes at all?

twelves aren't all that big, really, so i don't say i regret getting them. i didn't like them though, so i took them out. there was nothing really to regret because they closed up as fast as i had them done.

if you're an easy stretcher, it should be ok. you'll find out the first time you do it whether or not you are. you'll know-- believe me.

just a warning, though-- it's tough to get them to look normal again after going past 4 or 2. it also gets really painful once you get to six and want to stretch up. just make sure there's a lot of healing time in between stretches and take good care of them.

i had twelves in my second holes after having them pierced only since the winter.  i got them in late april.
