I dont understand why looks matter so much. Yes they're a huge bonus, as everyone likes to oggle... but.. there are so many amazing people out there. Alot of my friends arent exactly the most physically appealing people in the world (hell, neither am I!), but I wouldnt have them any other way, as they, as a whole, in and of themselves, are just so beautiful. They keep me smiling and laughing. They are there for me when I need them, and I them. My boyfriend *smile* I think he's the most gorgeous man on the face of the earth. And yet I am told repeatedly by a certain friend of mine that he's fuck ugly. Do I care what she thinks, no. Do I even remotely believe her, no. Do I think that she says such things because she cant manage to get a boyfriend who wants her for more than just sex... more than likely. But that doesnt mean I look at Troy any differently. Nor do I look at her any differently. We all wish we were better, but if we took the time to see how beautiful, truly... and amazing we are, it would no longer matter.
Please embrace yourself. I'm sure you're a gorgeous person, inside and out.

At least it's a reason...I'm often sad and depressed for no rational reason. Then I feel guilty for being sad and depressed when others have it worse than me, then i feel sad/depressed/guity for that...it's a viscious cycle
