I found a baby raccoon at the end of May and took him in. There are pictures of him on my profile. He did wonderfully for a good five weeks. I was bottle-feeding him, then weaned him. I even got him litter-trained. He played all the time, slept little, and followed me like a puppy. He cried whenever I left him and ran to me whenever he heard me coming. But, unfortunately, he got sick and passed a little while ago. After testing, it turns out he was rabid but hadn't shown symptoms for a while. I, my friend, my dad, and my dad's girlfriend are now all getting rabies shots, even though he never actually bit or scratched me. So yeah, a lot of people have asked about him, so I figured I'd give y'all the story on him. When he died, I sat with him in my lap and cried for a good thirty minutes. He really was wonderful, and I miss him. ~Maggot

I've raised kittens and puppies, and he was more trouble than both combined. He climbed everything, destroyed everything, got into everything and everywhere, and was so insanely needy. As much as I loved having him, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DON'T GET ONE. I've raised shitloads of animals in my lifetime, and it's pretty much second nature to me now, but he was tough. ~Maggot
