Apparently its fine for her to get another cat when they eat better then both of us, but I can't get a pair of rats because it'd cost too much. She spend $5 on my rats during the 3 years I had them and that was only because I borrowed $5 to get new bedding for them once. Everything else from housing to cleaning them all came out of my pocket.

I had both at the same time my cats were just terrified of my rats, the rats would want to come play and the cats would run terrified. I think my mom is just pissed because surprise surprise after teasing them for half an hour straight one of my rats tried to bite her.
