Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

People say that people with OCD do what they do because they have to, when it reality they have to because they THINK they have to.

I realized that I didn't have to do anything that would be caused by my OCD.  So I stopped.

It's all in your mind, kids...

I am serious, this isn't a joke topic.  Reality is, though, nothing I can say to you will convince you I am being serious.  So sucks to be you with OCD if you don't believe me.
