This question annoys me. Clearly when you come out to someone you have redefined the gender relationship. You don't have to be after them, but you have declared yourself as part of a pool of people potentially sexually attracted to the person. Of course they are going to react to you differently than straight people of their sex. It confuses relationship dynamics. You just have to get over it.
