OK it's turned itself off and asking me to verify everything, then i do and it does nothing!

It refuses to turn back on and continue to tell me that its expired..

Then i went and had a lookie at the stats or w/e and it says to avoid expiration have McAfee download all updates automatically... I DO!!!

Whats the dumb thing going on about! Help me!

I think McAfee do the best firewalls, however their virus scanner is crap. Norton does a much better anti-virus, however their firewall is crap.

I use norton systemworks and McAfee Firewall, and i am happy :)

Hexer is quite right, they both got it so wrong, but Norton is a memor y hog so i dumped it. Personally, through my experiences , I hate Mcaffee and Norton as they both repeatly licked ballz when I needed them most. My first PC had Mcaffee, and was dead slow and stop. Detected nothing. I got a new pc 8 years later, AKA the one i'm using now and it came witha  preinstalled Norton. It was shit and they didn't even give me the full version, just a krappy trial. I uninstalled Norton, taking around about 2 hours to uninstall and installed Avast! as my mate fyrestorm recommended. It found many many many trojans and other malware and viruses. FOR TEH WIN I SAY AVAST! YEII lol! Went a bit crazy there!? Basically, trash Norton and Mcaffe as they both are not even anywhere near as powerful as the fuckin free antiviruses available on the net at no extra fees per year :D

I've had McAfee forever and I've never had a problem with it or a virus either.

I use Clamwin for my antiviral needs.

I second that. ClamWin is a great program that I find better then Norton, Mcafee, Avast, or any others.

U may think it is good, but it really has no good "real-time" protection.
