In about 5 minutes. It's for my special lady, and it just sort of popped into my head.

I don't usually write poetry or anything, so I'm not sure if it's very good or not.

Yes, it's a love poem, but it's nice and short.

I give to you, my heart to hold.
And if you would, please be so bold.
To place it on the mantelpiece,
because you know it's not for lease.
As time goes by, I begin to feel.
That this is such a special deal.
I know this as we both grow old
because I give my heart to hold.
