As for becoming a slut, I wouldn't worry too much. If you're worried about becoming a slut, chances are you probably won't be one. It's the people who don't care about their actions who end up with bad reputations.

The hardest part about college is keeping a high caliber of work when you have so much new-found freedom. Just go to the library regularly, get your work done before you socialize and don't let people party instead of doing what you're at college for - learning. It certainly hasn't been easy for me, but for me living alone off-campus helps me get my work done the best.

You sound like you have your head in the right place - you are thinking about the right things - so I think you will do fine!

It will be extremely easy to meet people in college, if you're open to putting yourself out there and introducing yourself to total strangers. I did, and I've met some great people. I would recommend joining some clubs or groups that share the same interests as you. If sororities are your thing, you should also rush for a sorority, since that's another great way to meet people. Are you also living in a dorm on campus? If you do, you'll have a better likelihood of meeting some friends.

When it comes to your worry about becoming a slut, you shouldn't worry so much if you stick to your standards and have respect for yourself. If you don't want to become a slut, then don't. It's not as hard as you would imagine. Don't let yourself get into bad situations, such as getting so out of control drunk that you black out and have no friends to take care of you.

Doing well in school all comes down to being organized and using your time wisely, as all those sayings go. If you know you're going to be partying all weekend, make sure to get ahead in your studies during the week or before you go out each night on the weekend. Go to the library, keep a planner, get a study buddy. Make sure you keep up with your assignments and put aside a few minutes each day to look through some of your material. Also, if you have questions, make sure you talk to your professor! They are the best way to get the best help. If you do so, there's no reason why you shouldn't succeed!
