Is there such thing as a site booster? Almost like a proxy but it makes slow sites run faster?

nope, sites run in relevance to the server they are run on.
if the website was to upgrade there bandwidth and servers, it would go alot faster.
however, it could be your internet speed.  Maybe get the new 50mg download speed that is out :D

er i know in Opera 10 there is 'turbo mode' which compresses the webpage but makes images look like shit.
