the discovery of stumbleupon has greatly reduced my need to project my boredom onto you, faceless internet peers, but i recently stumbled upon this photograph and, frankly, i don't get it.
could a UK football fan please enlighten me? i feel like it should be awfully funny or cruel or something. but i just don't know wtf its referring to.

Anyway, they're a pair of hugely successful comedians. They present Britain's Got Talent too, so you've probably seen them on the Susan Boyle clip.
I'm assuming the banner is making some hugely profound point about us being brainwashed by the media, and how we choose tv stars as idols.
