Quite a long time. Very, very few people qualify for me - I don't lie when I say I see little difference between close friendship and relationships, but as far as I know none of my close friends see things that way, though they should know that I do.
I suppose part of me still hopes to yet convince them, but it's not's a huge deal if they don't. Until then, I'm still trying to find someone who fully shares my views. I have to know someone in order to be legitimately attracted to them at all for starters.
