Is coolant from cars dangerous? My friend opened the cap of his cars coolant and it splashed out at him and burnt his face. It got in his eyes, but he washed them out. Is it really dangerous?? He says that it hurts so much and hes been burnt alot of times because he used to work as a chef.
Please Help!!

It depends, what is inside the coolant, can you list the ingredients? Most likely your friend shouldn't be in serious harm. Whether or not his eye stings you should get him to bend into the sink and wash his eyes out, keep a continuous flow of cool water over the eye for about 10 minutes (that's the recommended time). Then it's probably best to take him to the hospital to get him checked out for burns and to get his eye checked, it's better to be safe than sorry.
