Not many people plan on having kids as a 16 year old or however old she is.

She said she regretted the father.

If you regret the father, that means you shouldn't have been with him.  Instead of realizing that, she ended up having his children.

If you don't want to have the possibility of having someone's children, don't have sex with them.

This way of thought would simplify a lot of teenage lives.
