The graphics for Prototype are BETTER than some of the "next gen" games for the 360.

The graphics aren't bad.

I dunno about the original question though, I haven't completed it yet.

The graphics are last generation.

 last generation? not really...

Low poly, low res texturing, not particularly good bumpmapping... it's definitely not up to par with current standards.

considering the amount of shit on screen at once, and how consistent the frame rate is, you have to understand that the hardware of the 360 isn't limitless in power, neither are the engines it can support.

I dunno what FPS it pulls off, I'm guessing 60 at 720p... It could've been better. Other games have demonstrated this.

Well I take what I said back. I just played the game today, and the screenshots don't do it justice. Yes, the textures are still incredibly low res, but I was pulling 60fps (limited by vsync) at 1680x1050 and... well, a lot was going on. The model resolutions on the whole are standard, animation is smooth, the faces are high poly. It's just a shame that the AI is shockingly bad.
