Running away is no fun. You have no place to stay. You don't have food/water. And yes i know how it is. I did it. And that is why i am here.
I know people who have run away and they were fine. you just need a good plan and some cash.
sometimes money is a problem to some teens. I mean, I don't even have a job yet I really need one for no reason.
you can always pawn, sell books to Mckays, sell crap on ebay.
I'm not all fine but VERY stable away from home, we have so many underlying issues besides this one in my family b/c they have honesty issues to overcome..so even being away from it all physically doesn't resolve the issues

juat leave them out of your life completely, no calls, no emails, no visits of course, no pictures, NOTHING

I would still give them one letter saying that this would be the last time hearing from you, unless something has changed. Then you can go, get a job, or a career, an apartment with someone, and live life without having the flashbacks. Doesn't sound too hard to do.
