I think people make a big deal out of this from both sides. Having hair doesn't mean a girl is hairy. Hairy would be a girl who's pubes go all the way up to her belly and to the sides of her legs, now that is what I call hairy. But, say, how about an asian girl who leaves it natural and her hair doesn't even go to her bikini line? See what I mean? Some girls who don't shave don't even need to worry about their bikini line. Many girls proclaim to shave, I wonder how many of them lie just so that nobody goes "eeeew" on their face.

It's up to each individual what they do with their genitalia/genital area. I shave mine, because I dislike hair. Much as I prefer my men and women shaved, I cannot make my partners do anything they do not want to. So long as it is at least trimmed, or manscaped, I will be fine.
