Uh, it's kinda hard to explain the exact definition. But, it's pretty much a system a country has based on the idea of trading services (jobs) and usually earning some type of currency for it. It's the foundation of a country that provides and manages money/currency. Etc.
look it up on wikipedia or something if you wanna get more in depth. this is just my form of explanation.
