I graduated from college on Saturday and ever since I have felt emptier inside than I can ever remember. I essentially became addicted to the college lifestyle. I'll miss seeing my best friends nearly everyday. I'll even miss the acquaintances that I never got to know really well, but still enjoyed seeing their face around campus. I'll miss being able to show up to class in a ball cap and sweat pants. I'll miss being able to sleep in instead of going to class and not have it negatively impact me. I'll miss all the drinking binges my friends enjoyed. I'll miss challenging my friends in Play Station or Wii. I haven't received word if I got accepted into graduate school or not and I haven't even bothered looking for a job. How long will these feelings linger and what can I do to make them go away.

I just graduated from high school, but I am also feeling the same way. I think it's important to remember that graduating is simply another stepping stone. It doesn't mean that you can't have fun anymore or that you can't see your friends. Sure, people will go their separate ways, but I'm sure there will be plenty of opportunities to get together again. Just as you have made great friends in college, you will also make great new friends in the working world. Best of luck to you

She's full of crap. Now that the rest of your life has started, make it HUGE and AWESOME.

Over the last day or two, I have been feeling better. I've been chilling out and catching up on my personal hobbies. I still don't know what I'll be doing for the rest of my life, but there are things to look forward to. For instance, homecoming is only four months away.

That's going to be me in one year. It sucks because there's nothing like college out there. Try to keep in touch with your friends that you won't see for a while. And if you don't want to bother looking for a job, you should pick up a hobby to pass the time. But I would recommend looking for a job.
