No they won't. Anything that's been opened is always checked, and a 2 year old XBox is gonna have a little wear and tear. Plus, if you switch the serial numbers, they're going to think, "Hmm, why is a brand new serial sticker peeling off?"
My xbox looks brand new. If anything I'll wait a week to take it back so it doesn't look so suspicious.
Those of us in retail are trained to look for situations like this. I work at a hardware store and sometimes work the return desk. Don't you think they drill it into us to open every box and inspect things such as weed-eaters and leaf blowers before processing the return?
I mean, unless you get a complete dumbass, I don't think it will work, tbh.

i kinda misread there, but besides that, an opened XBox is gonna be checked before being returned, that's a given.
Yeah, I'll switch the stickers out and be good. They can't turn it on to check the code since it's sorta RRoD. I'm good to go.
Why don't you save the risk and just bitch out XBox customer service? My mom did that when my bro's XBox went to shit and the warranty was only a week expired, and they sent a new one for free.
