I have both.

Macs are easier to use, don't crash, and do everything for you. It's simple, everything is drag and drop, or if you complicate it, it's even better. It's an awesome system, and PCs all suck balls in comparison.

I'd give you a more educated answer, but I'm a bit, erm, off right now.

I had a PC, didn't want to switch to Vista (Vista sucks balls) so I went Mac.

Once you get used to it (takes about a day) you'll never want to use a Windows computer ever again.

Video editing? I use Sony VEGAS.
Obviously, Photoshop CS4 for photo editing.

The only thing i'm remotely jealous of is Garage Band, but i'm sure i can find something like it if i put an effort into it.

So PCs are way better and cheaper.

OH. and the big thing;
Macs don't play games. Unless you use crossover [slows performance of your games] or Boot Camp, which means you have to use windows anyway.

Overpriced? Not even if you keep in mind the programs, and the lack of annoyance. Oh yeah, lets all remember that it won't cost you $400 to upgrade, compared to a measly $130.

You'll never have to upgrade your computer to be able to upgrade within the decade you bought the computer in if you have a Mac. Period.  

CS4 WAS DESIGNED ON MACS. Enough said.
The same shit you get on PCs for editing period is either better or compatible with/on macs.

& Garageband is shit btw
