Macs are overpriced. Seriously, there is nothing my PC can't do that a mac can. Video editing? I use Sony VEGAS. Obviously, Photoshop CS4 for photo editing. The only thing i'm remotely jealous of is Garage Band, but i'm sure i can find something like it if i put an effort into it. So PCs are way better and cheaper.
Overpriced? Not even if you keep in mind the programs, and the lack of annoyance. Oh yeah, lets all remember that it won't cost you $400 to upgrade, compared to a measly $130. You'll never have to upgrade your computer to be able to upgrade within the decade you bought the computer in if you have a Mac. Period. CS4 WAS DESIGNED ON MACS. Enough said. The same shit you get on PCs for editing period is either better or compatible with/on macs. & Garageband is shit btw Quote: from Peeta at 9:35 am on Feb. 22, 2009
If you are mentally ill, Macs are perfect. They do everything for you, no customization, everything is locked down.
Customization, we've got plenty. Download Onyx.
$400? What. Vista Home: $100 OS X: $130 And he wasn't talking about the operating system. You can basically build a mac nearly the same parts for anywhere from $500 to $1000 cheaper. So what exactly are you paying for? A half eaten fruit in a shinny rounded box? Further more so what if CS4 was designed on or for a mac? Works perfectly fine on a PC. Not to mention PC's have 10 times as many games, 10 times as many programs, 10 times the amount of customization, and I'm not talking some stupid desktop theme, I'm talking actual performance tweaks. PC's don't just randomly crash, if you are smart and know what you are doing you will never have a problem with them. The last time I had a problem with my computer it was because the hard drive failed not because of the OS. And finally, right click.
If you're honestly bringing up the right click argument, then you're shit CTRL+CLICK Or just a simple two fingers on the trackpad and click, oh so difficult
Okay CTRL + click while playing a video game, tell me how that works out. For the record I have a hackintosh, not for any practical purposes I just got bored and turned an old rig into a mac/linux box to play around with.

I don't play video games on my mac, I use it for logic, but i'm pretty sure it'd word out as CTRL + Click, like i said Or two fingers on the trackpad and click

You use a mac for logic? What you sit there and crunch numbers on it or something? Like I said before, because you can't play video games on them that is a MAJOR fault. Macs used to be great for video editing because they had 2 cores. Now I can have 8 cores in a PC. Macs are trendy that is all. They are less functional and over priced.

No you dimwit, I use a mac for Logic Pro to make music on You CAN play video games on them though, since when has it been said that you can't? You can have upto 8 cores in the mac G5, so they're more than trendy

Macs aren't the first computers with dual/quad/octo core procs. There isn't a computer called the "mac g5", there was the PowerMac G5, and the iMac G5. the PowerMac had the option to put 2 processors in it, both with dual cores.

Power mac, iMac, Mac, same thing! The G5 has an option to have two QUAD CORE processors, and I wasn't saying they were the first computers to do it.

The Mac PRO had that option. The G5 only got to two dual cores.
