Macs are overpriced. Seriously, there is nothing my PC can't do that a mac can. Video editing? I use Sony VEGAS. Obviously, Photoshop CS4 for photo editing. The only thing i'm remotely jealous of is Garage Band, but i'm sure i can find something like it if i put an effort into it. So PCs are way better and cheaper.
Overpriced? Not even if you keep in mind the programs, and the lack of annoyance. Oh yeah, lets all remember that it won't cost you $400 to upgrade, compared to a measly $130. You'll never have to upgrade your computer to be able to upgrade within the decade you bought the computer in if you have a Mac. Period. CS4 WAS DESIGNED ON MACS. Enough said. The same shit you get on PCs for editing period is either better or compatible with/on macs. & Garageband is shit btw Quote: from Peeta at 9:35 am on Feb. 22, 2009
If you are mentally ill, Macs are perfect. They do everything for you, no customization, everything is locked down.
Customization, we've got plenty. Download Onyx.
$400? What. Vista Home: $100 OS X: $130 And he wasn't talking about the operating system. You can basically build a mac nearly the same parts for anywhere from $500 to $1000 cheaper. So what exactly are you paying for? A half eaten fruit in a shinny rounded box? Further more so what if CS4 was designed on or for a mac? Works perfectly fine on a PC. Not to mention PC's have 10 times as many games, 10 times as many programs, 10 times the amount of customization, and I'm not talking some stupid desktop theme, I'm talking actual performance tweaks. PC's don't just randomly crash, if you are smart and know what you are doing you will never have a problem with them. The last time I had a problem with my computer it was because the hard drive failed not because of the OS. And finally, right click.

Woah woah woah. Hold on. $400 upgrade? What the fuck costs $400? and idk what you're trying to say, but CS4 does exactly what i need it to on a PC. so gtfo with that.
Windows Vista actually costs $600, my bad. CS4 is more efficient on Macs, Adobe creates Photoshop and their entire suite on Macs. Nothing more than that. I'M TALKING ABOUT A REAL VERSION OF VISTA NOT THAT STUPID WATERED DOWN HOME PREMIUM SHIT.

Vista HOME? You make me lol. That shit is so neutered it's hilarious. My little sister is more useful than that. I'll say this again, GAMES are not really supposed to be played on Macs. Everyone knows this. If thats the case, tell me, when was the last time you rebooted? I'll say this, I haven't seen my grey start up screen in a month. Right has been available on Macs for pretty much forever. So shut up. Quote: from ottoman673 at 9:57 am on Feb. 22, 2009

...and yours is more useful? dumbass, you just posted exactly what i did in a 3 pack. and OEM's work for consumers, i've installed my XP OEM on an HP when i was done with it to get rid of the shovelware HP puts on computers and it worked just fine. Genuine Windows Advantage was verified and i was good ot go.

If you're honestly bringing up the right click argument, then you're shit CTRL+CLICK Or just a simple two fingers on the trackpad and click, oh so difficult

Your sister must be pretty useful then. Anyway I don't even use Vista, I'm still on an out dated XP machine and it runs flawlessly. So the fact that your "super computer" of a mac isn't supposed to play video games means that, that isn't an issue? No that just shows there is something they can't do, something rather important to many people. Oh I never restart, my online time for AIM has been over 2 months before. The only reason I restart is to install new programs typically. And what are you talking about OEM is plenty useful. Why the fuck do you need a manual to use Vista? Its pretty straight forward. Do you get bored and read you Mac OS X manual, beat off a little? Post edited at 7:07 am on Feb. 22, 2009 by i r sekz
