I'm a proud marijuana smoker. If they are to legalize it and tax it, a lot of people will be out of a job. Everyone stereotypes drug dealers. A lot of drug dealers do it because they have criminal records and cannot support themselves so they sell the drug to make money. not all drug dealers are bad, society is fucked up, America is home of the controversy and nobody can get a second chance in America. if they legalize it, there will be more robberies and shit due to the fact that it will be too expensive. Plus they will start putting bullshit in marijuana like they do tobacco which will make it an addiction and people will lose money, which will end us up back into a recession. either way America is screwed. :] It sounds stupid but you have to think about it from the drug dealers type of views.

i believe that marijuana is not a drug ; some may say it is because of the feeling it gives yu . but i don't it is grown from my ground & if not tempered w. can't hurt yu . it's even used for cancer patients . so tell me what's so wrong about it ?

So many people have been harmed by pot. They get addicted to pot then move on to more "interesting" drugs and get addicted. Legalization is a joke and just a way for the government to get more money. No one will care what happens to the guy that gets hooked on it. SO SAD!

Gateway theory is bullshit. You don't drink a beer and then suddenly decide to start sniffing cocaine. Cannabis is no different. If anything it's the 'drugs are bad' mentality that is pushed on us that causes people to smoke pot and then move on to other drugs. We see how one illegal "bad" drug isn't actually bad and then think that maybe the others are not so bad also.

Lumping weed into the same categories as dangerous drugs sends out a dangerous message.

I deal with addiction every day and I can't tell you how many very tragic stories started by the person smoking pot. If it's legalized then more people will start smoking, get addicted, want a "better" high and move to meth or oxy or cocaine.

Very sad!
