Its online documentation I mean. Anyone else think it's shit? You can't search it, they don't remove completely deprecated methods, it looks like they haven't update its look since the 90s, ugh. If I need to know something I usually just google it.

PHP has the best API documentation I've seen . Tons of useful examples for every method, helpful user comments, etc.

PHP is one of the best APIs out there. I have hated Java with a passion for a long while now.

PHP is one of the best APIs out there. I have hated Java with a passion for a long while now.

The more I delve into it the more I dislike it. It's only real redeeming quality is Applets. Portability isn't much of an issue anymore and even with the improvements they've done it's always going to be slower than natives.

Don't get me started on JSP. Who would put themselves through such suffering. Whenever I see a .jsp page I want to break my keyboard over my head.

While I haven't used Java or read their documentation since.. well, a long time ago.. I don't really have a lot to support them.  However, a long time ago, it worked rather well and was up to date. :)

I guess java is not what it used to be, or was hoping to be.

I've got spurs that jingle jangle jingle.
As I go riding merrily along.
And they sing, "Oh, ain't you glad you're single?"
And that song ain't so very far from wrong.

I love Java :(
We have lots of good examples.
Try javapractices.com or something... the documentation is actually quite good :(
