When learning about classification of plants and animals (i'm in general bio, btw), what do you do to remember all of this information? I'm like, desperate for this advice.

If you can think of anything useful besides flash cards, I would appreciate it. I would have to buy a shit ton of them and well, the real problem is that I hate writing up flashcards.

even if you hate writing them up, it drills the information into your brain
i just memorized them, honestly
or use mnemonic devices, i get way too carried away with those and mine are so random that no one gets them but me

I memorise them. Whether it comes to repeating it to myself a hundred times, writing it a hundred times. whatever. and i always get my siblings to test me after. and if i forget anything, i start over.

I have analogies.
ie. Gymnosperms = naked gymnasts, etc.

Mnemonics are good. A friend listens to her favorite music and makes lyrics from her notes. She sings her notes and says she has a different song from each part of the test or each test

Mnemonics have always worked for me.  If you can personalize the stuff and just use what each one makes you think of, it will make things easier.

Also, boring repetition does work...it is just...well...boring.
