I've had an Australian Shepherd before, and am totally set on either a purebred Aussie or POSSIBLY an Aussie/Border collie mix. Best dogs evver.

If anyone knows of any breeders in Alberta or Saskatchewan, let me know! I'm having a hard time finding any online and I've searched quite a bit.

ANYWAY, I'm so incredibly excited... I miss my old dog SO much... Life isn't the same without a dog. I've already begun making a list of possible names. Let me know what you think!!

GIRLS:
Belle

Demi (meaning half... would use this for a smaller female)

Reba (I'm totally leaning towards this, if I get a red merle or red tri female.. I love Reba as a singer and an actress, and think it'd be a totally unique and cool name for a reddish female)

Spice (again for a red female)

Silver

Jade (especially for a greenish eyed dog)

Casino (there is an old mining road that runs past the ranch where I grew up, leading 100 miles back into the bush to the Casino mine site. Would be Cas for short)

Kluane (my favorite place in the entire world.. Kluane Lake/Park area... but I do know a person with a dog named this. It's a somewhat common name in my area)

Dice (like a roll of a dice, you never know what you're gonna get)

Please suggest anything else as well, I'm totally open to whatever. I like somewhat plain names that are easy to say.

I think Casino is an adorable name, and I'd go with Casino for a boy or girl.

I'm getting a basset hound named "Sherlock" and a husky named "Nanook" when I get older. :)
