Just moderate this forum to keep the intellectual forum from becoming just a second deep thoughts forums, and add a filter so you can choose to see only intellectual responses If you want. Don't remove the test, just the requirement to pass it for the ability to post. Right now the whole idea of this forums seems pretentious.

read the post, it wouldn't remove the test, just the requirement. If you want you can take it so you can be off of a selectable filter of replies.

Edit: and at the Above two, I think the part that actually mattered was the essay to see of you are intelligent or not.  It would be hard to make questions that are difficult with the Internet one click away.

And unfair to take away 20 minutes of time?  Get a better excuse

I'd rather seem pretentious than have to deal with most of the imbeciles that frequent this site. I visit three forums typically [this one included], the rabble tend to stay out of them. I use this site to pass time if stumbleupon is boring me, and it pleases me that I can come to the Int. forum and read something--and the replies to it--which is at least moderately interesting.
