So...I started talking to this guy online very once in awhile and he would call quite a few times yet I never picked up because I was nervous and was seeing someone else at the time and didn't want to date more than one guy. So when the guy I was dating turned out to be a real asshole, a weak later the online guy, lets call him John called me again and I actually picked up and he was sweet and funny and I had a great time talking to him, we spoke for three hours, that night he asked if I would like to hang out tomorrow night and we agreed to hang out when I got out of work around 8. It was a blind date and I met him and we connected well, he and I walked around the mall casually talking and joking. Well about a hour after that he suggested that we go to this cafe for some coffee and tea and I agreed. So we go there and he buys me tea and pastries and we relax on a couch and he tells me the history of his country and then introduces me to new music and says he will teach me more in the future. He also showed me his web design projects etc and we were sitting pretty close, knees touching etc. He listened about my passion for writing and it seemed like a great evening. At around 12:30 we decided it was getting late and to head back, we listened and laughed and talked on the drive back and we pulled up to my house and talked more and joked, then he said it was nice meeting me and held open his arms and gave me a hug goodbye and i thanked him...did the first date go well? I havent been on a date in 2 years, kinda out of it. I was surprised he didnt try to kiss me and didnt mention hanging out again..but I thought everything seemed to go well. Is this normal for a first date? I'm sorry its long but I need some advice. What do you think? Will he call or was he not interested?
