Wow, I will start with saying that your anger is completely understandable.

But, you cannot choose another's actions. It hurts, I know, but revenge isn't going to change what has happened. Bottom line, it's unfair. I'm pretty sure that anyone reading this would say that this situation is unfair.

Life should still go on, though. You haven't been with your father all these years, so why now? It might be difficult for him to deal with the situation. Maybe he's never told his current wife about you? Maybe he's in denial? Maybe something happened to him that you don't know about? Maybe he thinks that being around you is dangerous or something? You know, with the murderous ex-boyfriend thing. Maybe it was really traumatic for him, and he's just trying to move on with his life.

Everyone has reasons (logical or not) behind their actions. I'm sure it isn't because he's evil. It just sucks that his actions have affected you in this way.

I don't really know what else to say... just hope the anger dissipates a bit. It might if you try and find some empathy.
