I knew somebody who felt similar to what you described.
He suffered from Anxiety and eventually sought help and entered into treatment with a Clinical Psychologist. He was put on medication and is slowly becoming less anxious.
Maybe it would be a good idea to see your GP and explain what you wrote here and perhaps he can refer you to a Counsellor or something like that.
