Was it my fault or is it just the weight difference? So on Wednesday at boxing no one else was in my weight class and I was dying for a spar. I weigh 67kg (147lb) and the only two people sparring were 91kg (200lb).
The coach let me spar them and I didn't spar very well, although I managed to put box each of them into the corner and the coach never told me I was doing anything wrong. He only ever gave either of those 2 instructions on where to improve.
But in my second round of sparring I got a bloody nose and the coach wouldn't let me back in the ring sayign the weight difference is too much. I argued with him saying I didn't mind, but he said no.
I mean, he thought I was good enough or able enough to let me in right? So did he stop it because of the weight difference or because I just wasn't good enough?
I felt I sparred poorly, but it was harder with guys heavier than me and one of they guy's reaches was fucking huge for a big guy.
