Now, I've worked there six months. Doesn't feel like it's been that long.

They do performance reviews every six months. Mine is this week. I've been told I'm a strong closer and their best pastry case person. But... I tend to have explosions on the bar. I'm nervous.

But holy shit, I'm going to be making $9/hour by the next paycheck! MONEY!

Indeed it is. I'll be qualified for their health insurance soon, I get a raise automatically at the first 6 months, and a raise based on performance every 6 months after this. Plus a pound of free coffee or a box of tea every week, free coffee when I work, 30% discount on drinks when not working, and on everything else. Plus tips, and I get as many hours as I want.

I might actually quit my other job if my hours stay consistent.

Lmao, I do a lot of stupid things. First day on bar, I managed to explode a iced tea, all over myself, the floor, and the counter. I'm also notorious for milk splatters and spills, and I tend to overfill drinks, which means they explode when you try to put a lid on. It happens hehe.

Anyway, from what you've told me, everyone there is SUPER nice and friendly, and it's not like you purposely do klutz around the bar. :P They know to keep you away from it, and they know you're really good at the pastry case. So STFU! You'll do great. :)

The point if having two blenders is so you can keep up during busy MOMENTS, or busy days. I've had times where it's insanely slow, but we have 5 Frappuccino orders waiting. 2 blenders come in handy.
