Try deactivating system restore and starting up in safe mode and do a full virus scan.

Ok, well, first things first, turn on your software firewall. I expect your brother is talking about Network address translation (or maybe SPI). Anyway, to the matter in hand. I expect you will find that there is actually no virus, if I remember correctly some anti-virus progs incorrectly identify a virus with system restore.
------- Anyone who isn't confused really doesn't understand the situation http://craigk.org/pictures/ Can you work out the code?

ok, i am reluctantly re-activating the firewall, despite me hating the thing. Does anyone with Bullguard know how to tune it down a little, it blocks just about everything.
