No, you have to purchase the software individually. A free alternative is openoffice.

I remember my computer asking for that... But I feel like if you just click the X then you don't even have to put that number in.

Her computer, like most these days, has come with a mere trial version of Office 2007, which requires you to purchase actual Office, type in the Product Key and away you go. You need to buy Office. Office does not come with Windows. It's only there because the computer manufacturer put it there to tempt you to buy it.
yes, and IMO, Microsoft is starting to get greedy... i ran out of xbox live gold but i had 800 MS points (which if you did not know, is Microsoft's version of a currency to buy and download various items) so i called them up and asked if there was some way that since i had 800 MS points which is equivalent to $10.00U.S. and a one month subscription is worth a max. of $8.00U.S. then could i not trade in 800 points for the one month? it would be a +$2.00 profit for them... but they said i would have to buy it separately! the way i figure it is- they already have your money for the ms points. if someone is willing to give up 10$ for something that is worth 8$ then why not refuse and say they need to be separate? that way they get the profit from you buying the one month card and when you do download something with the 800 MS points, they don't lose anything because it is a non-physical item. so in other words they figure if you want a one month that bad, you will get it and they will get more money out of the whole thing. i just wish people would come up with an xbox emulator already so i could get the free games and then my 50$ would go towards the subscription.
