I'm a nursing major, so A&P is a requirement, but I'm withdrawing. All semester long, I've struggled, and it's not like I haven't been trying. I've done all I can, but my professor doesn't teach, and I looked at it, and unless I ace the next two tests AND the last lab practical, I won't get a C which is what is considered passing for nursing. So tomorrow, I'm meeting with my advisor (which I was going to do anyway to go over what I'm taking next semester) and withdrawing from the course. This means that I have to retake it next semester, and take A&P II over the summer, but there isn't much else I can do. Ugh.

I'm sorry *hugs* I feel your pain.

Hard subjects suck. Crappy teachers make them so much worse..

unfortunately a&p is one of those things that you just have to be very diligent with and have a knack for.  The professor may not make much a difference.  You might have to modify your study habits/techniques.

...how do you study for your exams and practicals?  I may be able to give you some tips.

Lets see...I would study alone, go to the study groups offered, study with friends, go to open lab, do online exercises, color my coloring book and use flashcards. It's the teacher not teaching. I would've gotten a D if I had stayed in the class, so with a different professor who actually teaches, I'm sure I'll be able to pass.
