So Im in my first year at college and I am having a hard time making friends, it seems like no one wants to be my friend or talk to me.  I am the one who always has to start the conversation and if I don't then no one will talk to me.   Im so sick of this and it makes me really sad.  What do you think is the problem?

people in college dont really want to make friends unless you're going to some party school. most of them have jobs and/or kids or something along that line and work. they don't have much time for a social life outside school.

you never have as much freetime as you did when you were in highschool. that's why it was "supposed" to be the best time of a kids life.
