she had to take one of her GCSE exams today, still crying.

I was going to be nice to her and tell her that she could get permission to not do the exam today because it says on the contract that pupils may be excused due to severe illness or bereavement and something else.

But I then decided not to say anything. :/ probably for the best as I usually come off as insensitive.

but still scary how someone could just die like that and they'd be out of your lives forever.
