no idea then been split since i was 3. i dont wish they were back together ever cuz i dont remember what its was like when they were besides the fighting. besides i could never wish that kinda torment on my dad...

My parents parents didn't tell me when they got divorced, but I found out last year through a college application. They're been divorced since I was 13 even though my dad and step-mom have been together since I was 7....you do the math. It affects me everyday and I hate it not because they aren't together and I don't have a big happy family, but because they include me in the arguments about money, custody, and anything else they might want to immature about. they fight over me and try to buy my love constantly, I hate every second of it. if you think your parent's divorce doesn't effect you (and you are still talking to bothe parents) wait until college. My senior year and summer before college I felt as though I was living in a war zone where the opposing sides were both against me.

Mine were separated and I didn't see my dad for two years when I was 6-8. After that, they got back together and have been ever since.
