I think most think people commit suicide because of the music they listen to being so depressing.
But I think people are committing suicide because the music is just so god damned shit and they just cant bare to listen to it no longer so they grab a rope or whatever and end their life because they figure that the bands they listen to aren't going to get any better because they are already as shit as they can possibly be.
The record companies only gave them record deals because they cried their way through the audition process and they felt sorry for the poor kids.
Mind you without this stupid emo kids hanging about I would have nobody to pummel when im drunk.

Though mcr sucks ass and I would love to see bands like em fall off the face of the earth... It would not help the suicide thing.

I agree, music definately affects the listener's emotions but the listener can control how much power he gives the music to control his feelings. And I have heard that country music actually has a higher result in suicide because people can relate more to their ex's leaving them and so on that country music is all about.....Interesting I thought. :P

well like idk about other places but here, thats how we are taught music is to express yourself if you are angry about something let it out threw music, if sad same thing, happy and so forth. I know one thing that I love is when someone is all depressed I hand them my Johnny Cash cd. I love his music when i'm all sad.
