I've got a friend, my best friend, going in for brain surgury tomorrow, to see whether or not they can operate on a tumor. If they can, they are going too... Because of the location he risks loosing his eyesight, hearing, or not making it through it.
He's acting like it's no big deal at all... but i'm sitting here freaking the hell out. We hung out tonight and i'm regretting leaving when I did because i'm so afraid that something might happen.
It's tearing me apart.

Have faith in modern doctors. Tell him everything you've ever wanted to tell him that you never have. He's acting like it's no big deal. Consider this, if you thought that you might die tomorrow, would you want people freaking out in your company and being all serious and sad. Or would you want the potentially last day or two of your life to be filled with joy and as many good things as you can? Inside, he is probably freaking out worse than you are, he needs someone to enjoy life with him right now. Reasonable request, yeah?

For being honest.
I'm just not sure i'm ready to accept the facts. The fact that he might not be here after tomorrow is the one thats killing me most... I think i'm scared because I haven't had the chance to tell him everything. He's the straightest guy I know, but certainly one I want to have as a friend for a life time. I'm just not sure i'll have that chance.
