I love my grandparents, but I feel compelled to agree.

My great uncle especially. He spends 30 minutes telling you about how his grass has been turning brown, due to the current lack of rain (that most of California is experiencing he might add, which is apparently "strange" in the middle of an obnoxiously hot summer in southern California), and doesn't take a hint when you want to leave. Talks about the most random crap.

Not ALL old people smell funny. Most just smell like whatever products they use in their house. My one grandma smells like nail polish and toothpaste, my other grandma smelled like bleach.

They talk loud because their hearing is gone. To them, it doesn't sound loud.
