Basically whenever the laptop starts up the OS takes longer than normal to load, once the OS actually launches it runs fine for about 10 seconds and then becomes unresponsive. (it doesnt crash, the mouse still works fine)
Nothing was changed (to my knowledge) prior to this issue. I doubt its a hardware issue being that safe mode runs perfect.

Click Start and in the search box type "msconfig" without quotes and hit enter.
Go to the Startup tab and uncheck unnecessary start up items and see if that helps.

The program may be defective.
My previous laptop was like that except the motherboard had blown up. Turns out the company was "testing" the new products on people and a lot of complaints were filed with that.
