Saturday I dropped my camera and knocked the lense thing off kilter.  I usually take VERY good care of my cameras. This frustrates me because the warranty is out and I only got it in LATE summer 2008.

It didn't even have a scratch on it.


Soo, now I must get a new camera.

Suggestions? I want something with better features and quality, however, I'm broke. :(

Ugh.. frustrating. My birthday is 3 days from now and I graduate in a month and I have a TACKY CHRISTMAS SWEATER PARTY... ughh prime time for camera usage and I can't. :(

Same thing happened here. Except I've dropped it many times before, and it wasn't even a high or hard drop this time and it froze up.

IDK what brands are best though. sorry.

I like having a fun point and shoot for like going out...(Cough bar camera... jkk) however, I wouldn't mind getting into photography and such. I wish I could find a camera that compromises and has features for both.
