by injecting and air bubble into their bloodstream, is there any way it's show up in an autopsy, presuming they overlook the puncture in the skin where the needle entered?

I once knew someone who died like that - if I remember correctly, no, it didn't show up. However, I could easily be mistaken. (Or ways of detecting it have been developed since - it's been a long time)

well it depends, majority of the time it requires a good deal of air (multiple IV tubes full) and that would show but the stuff they show on TV with the whole small air bubble, that is very unlikely but there are the freak instances
